Its also a short drive to any of the surrounding villages like Benejuzar, Bigastro, Almoradi or the historical town of Orihuela, where you can find a complete range of services and facilities, like commercial centers, supermarkets, sports facilities, or you could just walk around enjoy the culture each town has to offer. It takes around 25 minutes to drive to the coast, where you will find many blue flag beaches and other attractions to enjoy on your holiday. You could visit Torrevieja, a large service town on the coast where there are water parks, casinos, shopping centers, a variety of bars, shops, restaurants, and a busy night life with clubs and discos.
For good family fun, you could drive further up the coast to the well known holiday resort of Benidorm. There you can enjoy a family day out at Terramitica theme park, Tierra Natura wildlife safari, Mundomar Aquatic Park (like SeaWorld), the Benidorm Palace (the biggest stage in Europe with dancing, acting and magic shows), etc. Another good place to visit if you have time is Valencia, an old historical town full of things to do and places to explore.
