The weather on the Costa Blanca, winter sunshine in Spain
The climate in the Costa Blanca South is said, by the World Health Organisation, to be one of the healthiest anywhere in the world. The combination of the salt lakes and the surrounding mountains creates a unique microclimate. This climate is said to be good for sufferers of arthritis, rheumatism and asthma. Certainly 320 days of sunshine, an average yearly temperature of 18 degrees Celsius and very low annual rainfall, isn't going to do you any harm!
